Bowmore Meets with Saint-Camille Township Council

Montréal, Québec – February 21st, 2011 – BOWMORE Exploration Ltd. (BOW: TSX-V, “Bowmore”) is pleased to report that an informal meeting took place on Friday, February 18th, 2011, between Paul Dumas, President of Bowmore and municipal elected officials of Saint-Camille, a township municipality located in the area covered by its St-Victor gold exploration project in Southern Quebec. The purpose of the meeting was to initiate open and transparent lines of communication between Bowmore and the Saint-Camille authorities.

During the meeting, Mr. Dumas indicated that Bowmore is running an exploration program in the region and that no economic gold deposit has been yet discovered. Furthermore, Mr. Dumas emphasized that citizens are legally fully empowered to decide whether or not to accept exploration activities on their property. Although expropriation of a citizen within the context of an exploration program would be technically possible according to the current mining legislation, it would be neither useful nor realistic to attempt such action.

Mr. Dumas also emphasized that, while it is very premature to speak of a mining project at this time, the Company is committed to ensuring that local communities are respected, no matter how the exploration project unfolds. Mr. Dumas indicated that the Company will continue with its exploration program on those properties where access rights have been granted by land owners.
